My world came tumbling down when I was told by the pediatrician that my little girl Faith aged 2 has got symptoms of autism. The signs were there but I thought they were normal. It all started when she was 12 months as I noticed that she never baby talked like her cousins used to. When she was about 18 months old, I was very concern when she doesn’t respond or have eye contact whenever we called her name. And whenever I smiled at her, she didn’t smile back. My husband kept on telling me to give her a bit more time to learn. When she reaches 2 years old, my instinct tells me that there is definitely something wrong with my precious and we have decided to seek professional help.

The pediatrician later told us that there was no known cure for Autism. All he did was to recommend us to send Faith for therapies. Not satisfied, I went lookup on the internet for Autism treatments that is available and I found this Chinese master from Malaysia. I filled up an assessment form on Faith’s condition and send to them. After 2 days, there was a reply from them asking me to let her try their brain powder for 7 days to see the difference. A week later, I received a package that contains 14 packets of herbs in powder form and was told to give her 2 packets a day.

It was a torture waiting for any signs of miracle in these 7 days. There wasn’t any miracle that I had hoped for and I wrote to them once again. I was told to order for another 7 days. The miracle happened on the 12th day of her taking the powder. It was a smile. It was so heartwarming to experience this little miracle. It was all that is needed to convince me to fly all the way from Toronto to Malaysia to see this Chinese master. After a month of preparation, we finally boarded a plane to Kuala Lumpur.

The next day we arrived, we headed to The TOLE Acupuncture to seek this Chinese master. Upon arrival, we were made to wait 2 agonizing hours just for consultation. The place was literally pack with kids and their parents of different ethnicity. I met this mother of a hyperactive child from Africa. She told me that she had been here for 2 weeks and the treatment has done well on her child. He can now focus better and at times obey to her commands.

During the consultation with the master, he told us that Faith is 70% autistic based on the autism assessment for that we filled in. He told us not to worry as he has had lots successful cases in treating autism cases over the last 20 years. He later told us that to compliment the brain powder, Faith needs to undergo intensive neuro-acupuncture as well. He brought some needles out and stated to place them in her scalp. He later told us that neuro-acupuncture will improve the connection between the brain’s neurons which are blocked. We were told to conduct 3x acupuncture on a daily basis and to continue consume the brain powder 2x daily.

Time really flies as after 1 month, we need to head back to Toronto. Faith’s progress during this 1 month has been tremendous. She has started to baby talk. My tears kept on flowing when I heard her calling me mama. We were told to continue taking the brain powder and come back to Malaysia whenever possible.
